Hemi Kit A
is for TJ Jeeps
Model Years: 1997-2000
The kit is for Jeep Speed Shop to do the install
and the kit will come with a low mile 5.7L truck Hemi
engine and a 545RFE transmission.
The biggest difference between the
1997-2000 is theFuel pump/Evap system
and the Cluster. The Cluster in the
1997-2000 will not work so we have to
change out the cluster
for a Cluster out of a 2001-2006
and wire it in.
Also the fuel system does not have enough fuel pressure so we
have to change out the fuel pump and change the evap canister
so it will operate correctly .

Please note: We can also help you get a California Emissions label with this conversion for an extra $1,000.00
In order to be smog legal, new Federal Emissions laws state that your Jeep must be at least 8 years old or have at least 80k miles on it in order to be eligible for an emissions label.
We will also keep your engine and trans as a core
if you want it back it will be $1000.00
For all TJ and LJ Jeeps, in-house Hemi conversions can take up to 7 weeks to complete. It usually takes about 5 weeks to do the wiring harness and an additional 2 weeks to perform the swap itself.
